I got the car from NAFTA models. This was a test print. The final versions of the kits will include detail parts, wheels, trucks, couplers, decals, and even a bottle of TruColor Paint.

I got my Kaslo BC Rail boxcar kits together and painted. Now they are ready for decaling.

I forgot to update this with pics of the good BC Rail cars. Today I salvaged the one that went wrong. I didn’t get all the mold release washed off one and it reacted with the primer. Huge mess. It didn’t turn out perfect, but it will work Click image for larger version

Doesn't look perfect? Looks damn good to me Karl.
I see a slight sag and some of the door hardware looks a little wonky on the top of the left door, but what I see overall is damage and wear and tear.

Allen the door hardware being off was all me. The sides of this car looked like the surface of the moon after primer. I had already detailed it, so I had to carefully hand sand it as smooth as I could. Some of the imperfections were still visible after paint. Somehow, when I shot the dullcoat, they seemed to have disappeared. I’ll take being lucky for $100 Alex

I finally finished painting and weathering the ex-Soo 40’ers. This was a bugger. I matched the prototype patching, which was different on every car and used three different fonts for the road numbers. I’ll post a little more about these in the layout thread.
