N scale Rail Road crossing stencil

A number of years ago I could have sworn I've seen one of these that someone produced commercially as an N scale brass stencil.
    https://www.stencilfast.com/product/...ssing-stencil/

After numorous searches, I've come up empty handed.
I've found one that was on Shapeways, but that's now gone.

Anyone have a line on one?

Can one of the 3D printing guys on this forum make one for you?

      Probably could Russ?
I just made a scaled image of one and sent a buddy who said he might be able to print one, but he's kind of new to printing?
      He said he'd try.

If anyone had a laser cutter, that would work as well

Yes, laser cutting would work Allen. Is this marking one size for all types of roads?
Here we have 2 sizes for secondary and primary roads, depending on lane size

The one I'm looking at and found is overall 8' wide x 20' long, which would fit my needs.

Years ago there was something like that offered in etched brass. I have one but can't recall who made it. I've got the RR crossing and the Stop sign but I believe that offered a few others as well.

That would be the one Brad, Thanks!
I was thinking I had one, but damned if I could find it in my stash.

However I did manage to find one from a fellow modeler on TrainBoard.
      It's in the mail now.

Need to change to a small 0.25mm nozzle and print, which will hopefully be some time this afternoon.

Oooo. Interesting in selling that design? That may be my motivation to get my printer up and running again.

Lets wait and see if the darn thing prints. Those lines in the "R" are only 0.010", which is one pass with a 0.25mm nozzle.

I am running a resin printer so maybe would print ok?

Jerry, if the lines need to be wider I can always go back with a small brush and paint over them.
If the "R's" were a stretched a bit wider, I doubt that would take away from the looks if that would help with printing?

      Let me know...thanks

I think your artwork had the lines at about 0.007", so I had to go the width of a human hair wider. :-) The first one is on the printer now, after two layers, it looked pretty good. I'll have a pic later tonight.

Here is the final print. Sent off to Allen today. If they work, I will post the .stl file either to Printables or Thingiverse.

      regards,
      Jerry

That looks a little thick to be getting a clean paint job through. I did just find a brass cutting service, maybe you could use the file to get some of these cut out. I’m sure you could offset your cost by selling just a couple
