It looks REALLY good! Both the urban and the rural scenes are amazing.
Vegetation is very realistic as are the structures.

I'm wondering if you mean 1980s in West Virginia? CSX wasn't formed until July 1986. Its predecessor, the Chesapeake & Ohio, was still using steam locomotives in the 1950s.

By looking at the vehicles I would say 1950s. Yet, that CSX diesel loco is out of time

Impressive scenery and structures, those look great. Yeah, the CSX loco and Railbox box cars look out of place... but that's easy to change.

Yea I was testing that engine the other day. I need a c&o engine. Thanks for all the positive feedback. Modeling in nscale ain’t easy.

Some C&O GP-9s would be fitting as well.

Thanks everyone that means a lot. My wife bought me a year’s subscription to model railroad magazine and looked at a lot of layouts including dennys that has posted here. Tom Johnson’s Indiana shelf layout really inspired me. But I studied a lot of layouts before even beginning.

I wanted to post this trestle bridge my dad built for the layout it’s scratch built with a road running under it the east end. He has never built nscale model before but I think he did a fantastic job. He did the bench work and backdrop with curved corners. Used some flexible drywall from 84 lumber.

I wanted to add this was done overnight. This is about a decade of work countless hours and ridiculous amount of money. I don’t even have any trains yet just been working on the layout. It’s a winter project since I do seasonal work.
