The Monticello Road (HO)

I model an HO railroad museum line based on the one in Monticello, IL. I also have included a fictious freight short line for more operation. Attached are some phots of the railroad. BarryK

Some very nice scenes, Barry. And I like that you've taken a road less traveled for your layout's theme. That kind of arrangement -- freight traffic on a tourist (or perhaps better put, tourists over a freight short line) -- puts me in mind of the Mt. Hood Railroad in Oregon.

Thanks, Paul. I have been a life member at the museum for over fifty years and though I now live in Minnesota help out with their crew training. In reality the museum does not switch industries but does handle freight cars for storage.
