Yes, a sincere congrats James. A well deserved honor. I will most definitely pick up a copy for myself.

My sights are set just a little lower, at just getting a photo published in any one of the printed model railroad magazines.

A well-deserved honor of being published in Great Model Railroads. Congratulations!

          Rule #1 of model railroading.
It's probably responsible for the greatest number of shoddy layouts because no one feels compelled to improve themselves. Meh, good enough...

One question I will ask -not to you James or your excellent railroad- but to everyone else who's watched this video; without going back to look, how many noticed what colour the facia is??

Thanks, James! I enjoyed that video tour. The callouts are a great touch!

And congratulations on making the cover of Great Model Railroads 2025!

James occasionally does live YouTube sessions showing operations on The Hills Line.

Nicely done, thanks for sharing those.

Well executed. Simple, but simply excellent.

My friends and fellow Iowa Interstate modelers Joe Atkinson, Scott Thornton, Colin O'Brien, Kyle Brown and Jason Klocke, along with yours truly, will proudly represent the IAIS Mafia tomorrow evening on the Second Section Podcast. The live broadcast begins at 7 pm Central time on their YouTube channel... although I'll be joining later after I finish up some business.

I hope you'll join us for what should be an enjoyable evening.

SSP's best show. It was long, but didn't feel like it.

You call it ephemera, James. I call it the work of someone who's made an impact on our hobby.

That's a neat way to tell the story of your layouts.
