No. 4702 is now broken in and speed-matched to my fleet’s standards. Here, this GP16 is pictured MUed to an unrebuilt GP9 No. 1025, which avoided ever being repainted into the Family Lines scheme and must have not been in good enough shape to be included in the GP16 program. Since No. 4702 was outshopped in February 1980 and No. 1025 was not retired until September 1983 (technically surviving into the first year of the Seaboard System), this consist is entirely plausible between 1980 and 1983.
