Interesting N scale switching track plan

I found this on the JOMRD site. What intrigues me about this track plan is its large industries. Another benefit of modeling in N scale.

Rob liked that plan so much it's posted twice on his blog. Confused me. I thought the second one might be a revised version, but AFAICT the two plans are identical. Rob's blog is a good source of planning ideas for smaller layouts.
