    Creating a Logo

I would like to create a logo based on the SP. My layout is the Southern Pacific in the Inland Empire and was thinking of keeping the "Southern Pacific" in the outer ring and add "IE" in the middle.

Any thought or resources would be great.

      Rule #1 of model railroading.
It's probably responsible for the greatest number of shoddy layouts because no one feels compelled to improve themselves. Meh, good enough...

Those look great Allen. I like the yellow and blue sunset the best. Would you be willing to make it scarlet and SP gray with the yellow sunset? Or even scarlet and black.

Let me play around a bit, I might have to call in a favor?

Allen, after some thought I think the yellow and blue would actually contrast all the SP paint schemes and stand out. You created it so I need to ask if I can use it to represent my layout on social media if I go that route?

They all look good, just a matter of taste. John, if you're running a passenger train then use, say, Allen's logo on the passenger and yours on freight.

John as you can see, the outer rings and lettering is a little fuzzy as this was a quick grab off the net just to play with.
I think I found a bit better, sharper image.
Let me make a redo and of course, you are more than welcome to use it for whatever you'd like.
        Thanks for asking...
