Not much to show for the Summer. Was out nearly every weekend with my Who band and had plenty of outdoor work to do. 285 was the only real accomplishment. Hopefully, Model Railroading Season will be more productive.

Yes, 285 is the Atlas model. She's been mudded and oiled and chooch puked up fairly heavily. The weathering is gouache dot fade weathering, plus airbrushed filth all over the pilot, trucks and tank. I tried out Ammo Products 'Fresh Oil' and 'Fuel' staining paints. I like them, particularly for the oil dripped all over the walkways and on the roof.

The wheelslip decelostats are Gotham Rail & Marine and are fragile in the extreme. I like how they look, but they need to be made from a more forgiving material for runners like 285 here.
